About Us
Hi! I’m Cierra, the maker and creator behind Cith Soaps.
The name Cith has a special meaning to me. It comes from the first two letters of my name, Ci, and the first two letters of my son Theodore’s name, Th. As a fun little bonus, cith also means “shower” in Gaelic — which felt pretty perfect for a soap company!
Cith Soaps started with something very close to home: my son, Theo. He loves bubble baths and bath bombs, but I noticed that certain products left his skin irritated and itchy. That got me curious about what was actually in the products we were using, so I started researching ingredients and learning everything I could.
One thing led to another, and before I knew it, I had fallen headfirst down the rabbit hole of making my own bath products. And then I thought, “Why stop there?”
That question led me to soapmaking. After creating my very first bar of soap, I was completely hooked. What started as a way to create gentler options for my family quickly turned into a passion for crafting beautiful, thoughtfully made products that I’m so excited to share with you.
Today, I’m constantly researching, experimenting, and dreaming up new creations. Every ingredient is carefully selected for its quality and sourced with intention, and every product is made with plenty of care (and probably a little too much excitement).
Each bar is handmade, hand-poured, and hand-cut in small batches, so no two bars are exactly alike — and that’s part of the charm.
